Actually he’s right, AC/DC are at least as if not more talented than the massively over-hyped Springsteen who basically sucks in My opinion.
And don’t mistake AC/DC’s simplicity for lack of skill, it’s just the type of music they prefer, and as for the so-called Boss I have never once heard Him do anything complex at all. Case in point, His big hit “Dancing In The Dark”? Musically speaking Hell’s Bells is a far more complex song actually.

Now your friend only need name 20, since Bruce has written over 300. If he can’t do it, ask him why he makes a fool of himself by commenting on a subject about which he is ignorant.
By the way, it couldn’t be less true that Bruce brings in the basic song and the band adds the rest. He tells every member what he wants and they keep trying until he is satisfied. Certainly, their own creatvity and ability to interpret his vision plays a role, and they are free to suggest.

Angus Young, although vastly overrated, is a more talented guitarist than Bruce Springstein.
But you really cannot compare a singer/songwriter to a whole hard rock group. AC/DC are one of the most basic rock groups there are, though.
Bruce Springstein does have a much wider variety in his music, so for that I will give it to him.
Both are quite overrated though.
***The Jonas Brothers play the guitar tracks but have people play Drums, keyboards, and bass for them.

persoanlly I find them both vastly overrated.
But I do think Bruce is much more diverse than AC/DC, since Acca has recycled the same riff for 30 years.
Now if only Bruce’s vocals were any more intelligable than AC/DCs……
btw, its the E-Street band that incorporates the keys and sax, Bruce just writes the basic song.

Let’s put it like this….ACDC may have more skill,Springsteen has the stamina to do shows ranging from 3 to 7 hours long,and not repeat any songs. I remember on his Houston date for the “Born In The USA” tour,he started at 8 PM and didn’t leave the stage until noon the next day. Lengthy show,indeed.

Dude AC/DC is a billion times better than that old overated adult contempary rockstar jackass. Lowrate me all you want to at least
AC/DC plays real rock. And Black Ice was a pretty solid cd compared to that homo and U2’s last cds.
