my ac/dc adapter for my laptop broke today. it was 65 watts with an output of 19V and 3.42A. can i use a 70 watt AC/DC adapter with my laptop as 65 watt adapters are hard to find where i live?

It’s okay to exceed the specifications for current and power but not voltage.
So if you have a 19V adapter and your laptop needs 16V then this would not be an appropriate substitute. If the difference is 1V you’ll probably be fine (I’ve use one with as much difference as 2V before) BUT I wouldn’t recommend it especially if you care anything about your machine (which I did not). Manufacturers build in tolerances into their products and these are usually pretty significant but it really depends on how well your machine is made to how well it handles.
It’s important that the current rating be at least as much as the original adapter.
Both voltage and current requirements are related to power but that’s beyond the scope of this question. If you voltage and current match, then there is no problem.
There is also one other thing to worry about. Not all adapters are created equal.
If this replacement adapter was not originally manufactured for a laptop make sure it is a regulated power supply. It may still work but it could damage the electronics.

i cant find my wireless adapter piece that goes into the ps2 for guitar hero III, does anyone know anywhere where i could find one to buy on the internet? and if so, would it work with my wireless controller?

This is for a eliptical stepper that I use and I have to replace the 4 D cell batteries in a very short time. the four 4 D cell batteries are in series so that means 6 volts right but what about the amperage?

I’ve got a Guitar Hero controller for the PS2. I was wondering if it would work on the PC if I bought a USB adapter for it (you can buy USB adapters to use PS2 Dual Shock controllers on the PC). And if that worked, would it also work on the Xbox 360?
