Please answer if you have had PERSONAL experience with this.
I have Guitar Hero world tour (the complete band) and I’m wanting to get rock band 2 but I dont want to spend the 200.00 it takes to get the complete set. Will my controllers work with this game (not really concerned about the mic or the drums just the guitars really)
If i am in the wrong section please dont say that just answer my question if you know it.

I’m getting Rock Band 2 for christmas and i was just wondering if i wanted to buy one of the Guitar Hero games can i play that with the Rock Band 2 instruments? Its for Wii if that matters.

The same reason the Moody Blues, Linda Ronstadt, Kiss, Steve Miller, and a host of other very, VERY successful acts from the 1970s are not in: the man in charge of nominations, Jann Werner, wants to make it the “Jann Werner says what’s worthy Hall of Fame.” I don’t like a lot of the acts I named, but it’s ludicrous to deny their popularity (and staying power — sheesh, Steve Miller is STILL selling out concerts, and that guy’s in his mid-60s!) and contributions to rock and roll. And I THOUGHT that was what the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was SUPPOSED to be about.
But the truth of the matter is the nomination/induction committee is playing politics. In 2007, they denied the Dave Clark Five induction and put Grandmaster Flash (yeah, THERE’S “rock and roll” for you) in instead even though the DC5 got more votes. The DC5 were finally inducted last year, but too late because two of their members died in the interim.
Maybe they should change the name of the place to the Rock and Roll Hall of SHAME.

Pretty much as it says on top. I have Rock Band 1 for the Nintendo Wii, and I’m wondering if I can use the Guitar (Fender), The Drums and The Microphone from Rock Band 1 to play Rock Band 2. Can I?

In the US how much does the game Rock Band 2 cost for the wii? I played it at school and I wanna save my money to buy it for the wii. Thanks!

Well, I’m thinking of getting Guitar Hero World Tour or Rock Band 2 for Wii. I’ve been searching and its almost 50% for each game. I heard Guitar Hero is good for you and a few friends and Rock Band for parties. I don’t have much parties and I have 3 siblings. But still, tell me should I get Guitar Hero World Tour or Rock Band 2? List all your reasons!

1st Clue- although the band was formed in 1970, their first number one hit wasn’t until 1998?
2nd Clue- This band has a day dedicated to them( April 13th) in Massachusetts?

I’ve never sung in front of people and always assumed I was quite bad (I still think I am) so I was surprised when on my first try singing on a Rock Band expert song I got 4 stars on a semi-difficult song and several others. My friend who prides themselves on their singing can’t even pass the same (or any) song on hard.
How accurate is the singing on Rock Band 2?
