Who Has Experienced A Nine Inch Nails Concert?how Was It?

I have seen Nine Inch Nails a total of 11 times on 6 different tours (3 times just this year). I can’t say enough about the shows. Trent is such a perfectionist that he and the band always sound phenomenal. The lighting is really cool, and they always like to do something different on stage (for example, this last tour they had a lighted ‘cage’ down in front of the stage at the beginning and end with the NIN logo on it). Sometimes they have a screen down for a few songs and show some interesting video clips (see Closure VHS and And All That Could Have Been DVD). The vast majority of the people that go are hardcore fans, so the crowd is always into the music and LOUD. Trent doesn’t talk to the crowd too much, though (unless he’s in a really good mood). The best part is the way he constructs the setlists to create a flow that is flawless. For example, this was the setlist for a show back in March in Greenville, SC:

If you’re a NIN fan, you can really appreciate that. Great stuff. Trent said they are going to be done touring for awhile. Make sure you catch them next time, though. Probably sometime in 2008.
